Bob Cantu's Biography
Bob Cantu, the owner of Bob Cantu's Pizza and Sportsbar is a Paso Robles native and a Paso Robles High School Class of '92 graduate. He is also the owner of Marv's Pizza and Sportsbar in Paso Robles.

As a 3-year varsity player at Paso Robles High School, Cantu started his basketball coaching career at St. Rose, then moved on to Mission Prep, Cuesta College and Cal Poly. He spent 3 seasons with the University of Texas - El Paso (UTEP), 12 seasons at USC as an assistant coach, associate head coach, and as interim head coach for the final 15 games of the 2012-13 season which was highlighted by wins at cross-town rival UCLA and over 11th-ranked Arizona at home. Recently, Cantu completed 3 years as assistant coach at the University of Portland (UP).
As a collegiate coach Cantu has lead teams to five NCAA Tournaments and 10 postseason appearances, recruited and coached 14 NBA players and five NBA First Round Draft picks, and was repeatedly named as one of the nation’s top assistant coaches. Over the years 11,000+ campers have attended his Bob Cantu Basketball Camps in Paso Robles and San Luis Obispo.​
